Australian Shepherds Furever is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit, which means our volunteer staff works tirelessly to ensure we have the available funds to continue helping aussies in need. Funds received through fundraising and donations help to cover shelter fees, vetting, transportation, and care for each rescued Aussie. Your donation will go toward expenses such as the following:

Every dollar makes a difference and ensures we can continue our efforts to save as many sick and homeless Australian Shepherds waiting in city and county shelters, those listed recklessly through "free-to-good-home" classified ads, and from families needing to re-home their Aussies due to various circumstances.

Meet Shani!
Thanks to generous donors, Shani received double cataract surgery and is now able to see!
Shani was picked up as a stray in Wichita. She was scared, she was a senior, she had a vision problem, and she was scheduled for euthanasia. When ASF became aware of her circumstances, Volunteer Transporter Lu Crow rescued Shani from the shelter and delivered her to ASF Fosters Jesse and Chris K. in Omaha. Through vetting, it was determined Shani had bi-lateral cataracts, but they were operable. The eye specialist provided a rescue discount and a fundraiser was held so Shani could have the necessary surgery to correct her vision. Over $3500 was raised (in large part by a single donor) and the surgery was scheduled. The surgery was a total success and Shani is now a very active, happy, friendly little Aussie living in her new furever home. This beautiful girl is thriving and it is all thanks to incredible Donors! Thank you!
